Candle Power

Katrina Evans of Candle Power entered the CYBI Program in 1996. She started her home based business making candles, selling them at local markets. She later moved into a small gift shop at Federation Square. Nine months later she moved into a custom made shop at the Gold Creek Cultural Centre. Katrina later opened a second shop in Manuka, Canberra. In total her two shops employ four full-time and three casual staff. Katrina also sells her products through interstate wholesalers and art galleries.
